Radburn is a pioneering American community.
Created in the 1920s, Radburn was bound to become a legacy in town planning, it’s schematic drafted by famed American Architects Clarence Stein and Henry Wright. It is on the National Register of Historic Places.
But the unforseen economic depression brought on by “Black Tuesday” interfered with the plan’s completion. This comes back to haunt the community 75 years later, as residents divide over the fate of Daly Field.
